We are seeking professional counselors for our fast-paced outpatient behavioral health programs in Bridgeport, that has been serving Lower Fairfield County for 50 years. Counselors help individuals seeking a new life, engage in the process of recovery, using a variety of evidence-based and trauma-sensitive practices and techniques.


  • Provide culturally competent, engaging counseling services, focusing on helping individuals recover from the disease of addiction
  • Connect individuals with wraparound support services in the community
  • Engage family members into the recovery experience


  • Certification in Addiction Counseling (CAC), or a Master's Degree in Behavioral Health.
  • Licensed & Bilingual individuals preferred
  • Experience with Medication Assisted Recovery
  • Understanding of a consumer driven delivery system, and the ability to work well with colleagues.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills, and computer skills
  • Kind, Compassionate and Mission-driven

Liberation Programs is one of Fairfield County's leading behavioral health organizations specializing in treatment for all types of substance use disorders including alcohol, opiates, depressants and stimulants.
